At work on my houseboat

I am a self-taught artist that grew up in Nottinghamshire, now based in Hertford and combining my passion for painting with my love of dogs.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life spending the first 4 years with a little black Pug and then some 14 years with my best friend "Skip" the Border Collie.

Travelling the world in 2013, I took the time to learn to paint and whilst in Thailand volunteered at the Elephant Nature Park working with the 400 rescued dogs that live there alongside the Elephants. In that inspirational little piece of paradise my attitude to life changed for good and I knew that I wanted to do more than just sit in an office, hence 4 years later I set myself up as Dog Portrait Artist, allowing me to spend my time painting, bringing a smile to dog owners.

I moved to my houseboat in Hertford in 2019 where I’m able to live my new life close to nature and In 2020 I’ve been joined by a perfect companion in “Benji”, a Border Collie Terrier mix rescued from Cyprus.
